The seller states that the exterior was stripped to metal and areas with rust were repaired before the car was refinished in two-tone black over red. This El Camino is now offered with part receipts from current ownership and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name. Work was completed in 2017, and approximately 700 miles have been added since that time. The braking, suspension, steering, and wiring systems were overhauled, and other replacement parts include 15″ Weld Racing wheels, Hooker headers, and a PerTronix distributor. A 350ci V8 from a 1976 Chevrolet Blazer was installed after being rebuilt, and a replacement three-speed automatic transmission has been fitted with a shift kit. The exterior was stripped to metal before it was refinished in two-tone black and red over a refreshed color-coordinated interior. This 1964 Chevrolet El Camino was acquired in New Mexico in late 2016 by the seller, who subsequently refurbished the car mechanically and cosmetically. ![]()
